Brian & David joined a growing cadre of buyers who have engaged us to work with them find the perfect boutique hospitality for THEM – whether it’s one of our listings or not. We start by asking a lot of questions and listening to their hopes and dreams and start building their personalized inn profile. Along with that, we help with educational resources to clarify both what they know and what they don’t know…yet. Then the search begins, with all of us scouring the internet to find properties that align with what they’re looking for.
Once properties of interest have been identified, the MB&A team reaches out to the sellers (and their agents, if needed) to gather financial and operating info to see if the business meets their financial objectives. Then the real fun begins – arranging visits, negotiating terms, going through the contract and due diligence processes, financing, and closing. Even then, we’re not done – the MB&A team continues to work with both buyers and sellers through the transition process to make sure that the new owners have everything needed to continue and thrive as active – rather than aspiring – innkeepers.
