Why Current Owners Love Living in the Area

Home in bed by 10!

This Inn provides the perfect lifestyle for me as an owner-operator. With 5 rooms and 5 baths for guests, it is highly successful and has been for over a decade.  It even comes with a built-in customer base! You’ll be as busy as you want to be, yet still be able to enjoy living, literally in the lap of luxury in the spacious owner’s suite on the 3rd floor of the mansion with views of the Casselman river valley.

This innkeeper sets the pace on this business and enjoys running this well-oiled machine for about 6 months each season, with plenty of down time during less busy times of the year…if that’s how you want to run it.  During the busy summer season, cyclists comprise most (95%) of our guests, who ride in each day and out the next, giving us a seasonal Occupancy Rate that averages over 70% and an annual Occ Rate of around 40%.

An average day is breakfast from 7-10, shopping, errands and lunch 10-1, rest time 1-3pm check in 3-6pm, then done for the day. Evenings off everyday, just like that! Work more or less depending on the lifestyle you choose.
