Originally constructed in 1906, the primary residence of Solomons Victorian Inn was established as the family dwelling of Clarence Davis, designed in the Queen Anne architectural style. The Davis family gained recognition as builders of early twentieth-century sailing yachts, many of which achieved accolades in racing competitions. One of the most notable yachts was Manitou, which was restored and briefly owned by President John F. Kennedy.

The Inn features 5 guest rooms in the Main House and 2 additional spacious suites with private entrances in the Carriage House, providing accommodations that extend beyond mere lodging.
